Our Tree Care Pros Have You Covered

There are many aspects of tree removal that make the project a tough one for homeowners. Due to the sheer size of many trees, they can pose risk when falling or trimming and often require an experienced tree climber to access heights and branches. Our team has professionally removed many trees from both residential and commercial properties without issue and we are licensed and insured for both your safety and the safety of our team. Our equipment and attention to detail is top-notch and we take all the necessary steps to ensure that your problem tree is safely and quickly removed.

Tree Removal is a Task for the Pros

It is often not recommended to remove a tree yourself unless you can do so without having to climb the tree and it is smaller than your home. Once trees grow over the roof of your house, there is a chance that when they fall, they could damage the structure or roof of your home. Additionally, the climbing required to access branches and the top of trees is very dangerous without proper equipment and experience. Falls from trees can lead to serious injury and using tools while inside a tree can be dangerous in itself.

Our team at Landworx have the experience and tools required to safely remove a problem tree and ensure that it does not damage surrounding landscaping, buildings, or power lines. Our clean up crew will take care of the debris and leave your yard clean and free of hazards. Additionally, since we have a team of specialists, we are able to remove trees quicker than doing it yourself, often completing the project in a day depending on the size and location of the tree.

    How the Process Works

    to Remove Your Tree

    • Planning and Preparation – Our team will carefully evaluate the health and integrity of the tree to find out if it is safe to climb. We will observe the surrounding area for obstacles and areas where the tree can be safely felled. Our team also always develops safety escape routes just in case of an emergency.
    • Trimming the Tree – Depending on the size of the tree and the number of branches or how far they extend, our team may need to climb the tree for trimming. We’ll remove any problem branches to make the removal process easier and safer.
    • The Undercut – This is an important step as it determines the direction that the tree will fall. We will cut a V-shaped notch into the side of the tree at a 90 degree angle to give the tree ample space to fall before it hits the stump.
    • The Backcut – This cut is done when we are ready for the tree to fall. Our team will cut on the opposite side of the undercut, which releases the tension and initiates the fall. Our team will move to the safe zones and carefully guide your tree down to the ground.
    • Limbing – This step involves removing the branches from the tree trunk. We start from the bottom of the tree and work our way upwards. Once the limbs are removed, we will then cut the trunk into manageable pieces for removal.

Tree Removal vs. Trimming and Pruning

Sometimes we encounter clients who think they need to remove a tree, but in fact the tree simply needs to be trimmed and pruned. When we evaluate a tree, we look at the condition the tree is in, the age of the tree, and if it poses a safety risk. If the tree does pose a danger, we always recommend removal, but in some cases, strategic pruning and trimming can lighten the load of the branches and help keep the tree healthier for many more years.

      Protect Your Greatest Assets

A tree that unexpectedly falls from storms or other causes can cause significant damage to your home, car, pool, or even family! If a tree needs to be removed, we recommend not waiting, as the unexpected can happen at the worst possible moment. A fallen tree can easily destroy the roof to your home, severely damage the structural integrity of walls, break power lines, and crush a car. By safely removing a problem tree, you can keep your greatest assets and biggest investments safe as well as avoid having to do emergency clean up and removal.

Tree Removal Before and After a Hurricane

Living in Florida, we are all too aware of hurricanes and the dangers they pose. During almost every major hurricane or storm, we hear stories of trees falling and taking out power lines for days, homes being damaged, properly-beingeing destroyed. This can be devastating for families and neighbors alike, so we often recommend proactive tree removal before hurricane season begins in June through November. By removing an unhealthy or dangerous tree before the stormy season, you’ll be keeping your family and property safer during this scary time. You have more important things to worry about than a tree falling, so taking care of these issues ahead of time can be beneficial for your peace of mind.

Even the healthiest of trees can be felled by a hurricane, however, and our team is here to help you clean up the mess. In some cases, trees can be completely uprooted while others are simply pushed over, with roots still holding it in the ground. Even if a tree is still standing upright, we encourage you to give us a call and have our experienced team evaluate if the tree poses risk after a storm. If so, we can set up a date to begin removal at a time that works for you.
